- Position: KS1 Teacher
- Start Date: September 2024 (Flexible)
- Salary: Competitive, based on experience (£30,000 - £56,959)
Role Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver dynamic lessons to a diverse range of students.
- Collaborate with various schools in Derbyshire.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging student participation and progress.
- Employ diverse teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Implement effective teaching strategies.
Requirements:
- QTS (Qualified Teaching Status) or relevant teaching qualifications.
- Enhanced Child Only DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for a new DBS).
- Strong curriculum knowledge.
- Experience in SEND settings (desirable).
- Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their maximum potential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility, willingness, and adaptability to contribute to the wider school and local community.
- Excellent behaviour management strategies.
- Enhance student engagement and enjoyment of the wider curriculum.
- Support children with additional needs.
- Adapt teaching methods and resources to best support each child individually.
