Our client based in Malton is seeking an Finance Officer to support the Finance Manager with day to day finance tasks whilst also working to improve the content of the monthly management information.
Your main duties will include:
- Accurately compiling financial data and creating reports for senior leadership
- Ensure smooth running of month end process including posting of month end reports, liaising with all departments to ensure pending transactions have been posted, and unallocated cash is at a minimum.
- Supporting with preparation of payroll including pension contributions and necessary deductions - liaising with the external payroll bureau to resolve queries.
- Performing credit control and regularly reporting on outstanding debts
- Working closely with the finance manager to support on ad hoc duties within the accounts department.
- Reconciliation of supplier statements
- Supporting with the audit as and when required
Salary: £27,500 - £32,500
