Interim Credit Controller

Agora Talent is delighted to be working with one of the most exciting challenger brands within the food and beverage industry on the search for an Interim Credit Controller.

This role will initially run on an initial contract basis, with the view to going permanent should the candidate perform effectively. You'll be reporting directly into the Group FC, and will be responsible for all credit control and accounts receivable duties within the business.

The role...

The Credit Controller will be responsible for managing the credit and collections processes, ensuring timely payments from clients, and maintaining accurate records of all financial transactions related to accounts receivable. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

  • Working on UK and US Sales Ledger
  • Chasing debtors and maintaining strong credit control
  • Assisting with sales invoicing/credit notes
  • Month end reconciliations with rebates and contracts
  • Support on bank reconciliations
  • Working with the business on credit limits
  • Month end reconciliations with invoice finance company
  • Help out with year-end and audit process

About you...

  • 5+ years experience within a similar credit control position
  • Experience within FMCG desirable but not necessary
  • An adaptable individual possessing the ability to work at pace to manage a variety of credit control tasks
  • Confident working with suppliers to sort out and control any discrepancies
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
