Douglas Scott are working with a long standing client who have an opportunity for a litigation paralegal to join their outstanding commercial litigation team in Altrincham.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated Commercial Litigation Paralegal to join a dynamic law firm that handles a wide array of commercial litigation matters, from business disputes and shareholder disputes to employee disputes, breach of contract, and debt recovery. The firm also work with Sports Law disputes that can often be high profile.
Job Duties:
- Taking client calls and gathering instructions.
- Managing your own basic caseload of commercial litigation files.
- Processing payments from clients and debtors.
- Preparing court and counsel bundles.
- Conducting basic legal research to support case work.
Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Commercial Litigation.
- Strong communication skills to effectively explain legal matters to clients.
- A discrete and professional approach to client confidentiality.
- Enthusiastic and eager to learn, with a strong willingness to grow in the role.
Supervised by an experienced solicitor in the team, the role will involve running your own caseload of litigation matters, for a number of their longstanding clients.
The role also offers excellent training/development and career progression opportunities, with future potential for a training contract for the right candidate after a period of time.
