ROLE: Sales Director & Account Manager
WHERE: South West London
WHEN: Monday - Friday / 09:00 - 17:00 / hybrid working
SALARY: £50,000 - £70,000 per annum + bonus
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Sales Management: Develop and implement modern sales strategies to meet the commercial objectives.
- Account Management: Manage and build key direct accounts ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
- New Business Development: Proactively identify and pursue new business acquisition opportunities, aiming for a minimum 10%-15% growth in new business acquisition within your areas of responsibility.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate strong, trusting relationships with clients to foster loyalty and open lines of communication.
- Negotiation & Communication: Utilise strong negotiation skills to effectively maximise account performance and marketing investment.
- Sales Reporting: Prepare and submit weekly reports to the Directors, outlining progress towards KPIs and financial targets.
- Market Analysis: Analyse market data to develop strategies that align with financial goals, and collaborate on marketing plans and annual forecasts.
- Digital Engagement: Conduct regular digital meetings with buyers and adapt to their preferences for engagement.
- Event Participation: Support revenue management through participation in industry exhibitions and events.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor account junior team members, fostering a high-performance culture.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior sales role within the health-care segment, ideally within natural and/or sustainable health-care
- Proven track record in managing multiple accounts, particularly in supermarkets, pharmacies, and other retail segments.
- Exceptional negotiation and sales skills, with a keen business acumen.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and digital presentation tools such as Canva.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fluent in English.
