SEND Learning Support Assistant

We work closely with a fantastic special school based in Cheltenham that are looking for a full-time LSA to join the team from after half term. The school look after students aged 2-19 who have a wide range of learning difficulties ranging from moderate to profound. Many of these students will have challenging behaviours and complex medical needs.

The school are an incredible supportive bunch! Having placed a number of staff at the school, I can confidently say how nice a team of staff they are at the school.

The role

The school have a few different gaps, so what they would love is for someone to provide support across a few different classes. The school are looking for people who are resilient, flexible, patient, positive and feel confident in dealing with challenging behaviour.

Due to needs of the students it is important that you have worked with special needs & disabilities before, preferably with children.
