IT Manager – Birmingham - £40,000 to £50,000
VIQU has recently partnered with an organisation that specialises within the Automative industry who are looking to recruit an IT Manager to manage all things IT. This company is an industry leader bringing new and exciting products to the automotive sector.
The IT Manager will also be a pivoting resource to manage the company's MSP and ERP service provider to ensure a smooth partnership and aim to provide continuous improvements for the company where technology can improve processes.
Requirements of the IT Manager:
- Strong experience with managing the IT within a small company.
- ERP experience with at least one of the following: SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Dynamics etc.
- Manufactory industry experience or come from a very process driven organisation.
- Good experience supporting issues regarding servers, network, helpdesk and ad hoc.
- Understanding of desktop & laptop support
- Strong knowledge of O365 and the MS Suite, with regards to backend administration
Responsibility of the IT Manager role:
- Manage the relationship with the third-party service provider.
- Provide IT support to the company's internal staff when required.
- Support and maintain the companies ERP system (SAP B1)
- Analyse the company's system requirements and configure, test and implement improvements.
- Work with the internal team to see where improvements can be made e.g. automating processes.
- Work alongside the company's 3rd party MSP to ensure that technical issues are resolved with the objective of improving internal user satisfaction.
