Role: Construction Project Manager
Location: Slough / Hybrid
Hours: 7am to 4pm Monday to Friday, 40 hours
Salary: £19.24 - £24.01 an hour, weekly pay (£40,000 - £50,000)
OA are currently looking to recruit for an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our client that operates across the UK on various sites and projects, on a Temporary basis with the opportunity to go Permanent
You must be a driver with your own vehicle as travel is required.
Duties of a Project Manager:
- Demonstrate strong health and safety leadership and compliance throughout all activities relating to the project
- Site survey and creation of drawings and material list for production
- Pre-start documentation including RAMS, access, tax compliance
- Programme works and provide project plans
- Oversee, motivate and coach onsite staff
- Ensure the safe to use of equipment, PPE and all safety related requirements on site
- Encourage reporting of any near misses, highlighting both poor and good practices
- Reporting all Health and Safety returns and deliverables for each project
- Produce and update RAMS as required
- Produce daily diaries of events, capture work completed and progress isues for record purposes
- Establish key relationships with suppliers, clients and other stakeholders
What we would like from you:
- Previous experience as a Project Manager or similar role
- Must hold a CSCS Black Manager Card
- Health and Safety at work qualification
- Manual Handling qualification
- Knowledge of Snagging
- Reporting and analysis skills
- Able to produce and read detailed engineering drawings
- Knowledge of steel / aluminium engineering and fabrication
- Client management skills
- Must be able to drive
