Role Overview: They are seeking for dedicated and experienced Maths Teacher to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to supporting students with special educational needs, particularly those with autism spectrum disorder and ADHD, and a proven track record of creating engaging and effective learning experiences in mathematics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver tailored maths lessons to meet the individual needs of students with SEN.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists, and other professionals to support student development.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in SEN education.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching mathematics to primary or secondary-aged children with special educational needs.
  • Strong understanding of SEN strategies and interventions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for teaching and supporting students with SEN.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
