Pertemps on the Isle of Wight are recruiting for a Electrician Maintenance Fitter for our client based in East Cowes. The role is temporary with the intention of becoming a permanent position for the right candidate. You will be initially working alongside the current Electrician Maintenance Fitter, but the role will be made your own as they are looking to retire within the next couple of years, opening up a exciting career opportunity.
Your main responsibilities as an Electrician Maintenance Fitter include but are not limited too.
- Working with Production on any electrical wiring required on sales orders, normally communicated by route cards.
- Service machinery and equipment in accordance with a planned maintenance schedule, ensuring records and machinery are updated on a regular basis.
- Set up a robust system for the communication of breakdowns and completion.
- Make recommendations for improved maintenance records and / or replacement systems.
- Agree a process with the Production Supervisors for the purchase of any critical parts required for servicing and breakdowns.
Our client is specifically looking for someone who works at a high standard and keeps work areas clean and tidy. You will need to make sure all work is completed in line with route cards and due dates. All maintenance systems achieve zero defect at internal audit.
