Corporate Communications Manager
£400 - £500 a day
Initially a 3 month contract, with scope to extend
London, Hybrid (2 days a week in the office, 3 WFH)

Our client, a global insurance firm, are looking to hire a corporate communications manager to join the communications function.
This role would be perfect for someone with extensive managerial experience across strategy and hands-on delivery of Public Relations / Corporate Communications and Internal Communications who has worked in a financial services environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop one direct report (whose primary focus is executing internal comms)
- Partner with the PR agency to execute the PR strategy and manage the UK and Europe media relations calendar, including press releases
- Be the primary internal contact for media enquiries
- Support in reactive comms
- Optimise crisis communications strategy and lead on delivery of crisis comms
- Oversee all internal communications and support the direct report in the execution
- Ensure all content is consistent with the Tone of Voice
- Support Events team in comms for internal and external events, work closely with the social media team to promote corporate events, and the Head of Comms in delivery of Executive Communications when required.
What We're Looking For
- Extensive experience in Public Relations / External Communications / Corporate Communications in a regulated environment (ideally financial services)
- Experience delivering high-profile PR campaigns, media relations and crisis management
- Excellent written communication skills
- Strong leadership and team management skills
