Partnership Manager - Senior Account Manager - SaaS sector - Travel required with trips to the office in Milton Keynes on a flexible basis - £35,000 - £50,000 salary with an OTE of £100,000

We are looking for a highly motivated SaaS Account Manager to join an organisation that has a huge share of their market with a turnover of £15M and on target to hit £25M by next year.

The Role:

The Partnership Manager is the main point of contact for their key customers and has a substantial focus on revenue generation by upselling products and services to their existing customer base.

This role is responsible for providing a platinum service to our customers and will specialize in product demonstration and relationship development to drive customer spend in line with business objectives.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Drive Revenue Growth Through Account Management: Oversee designated customer accounts with the goal of increasing revenue and expanding market presence.
  • Showcase Product Solutions: Deliver compelling demonstrations of their product offerings, both virtually and in-person, to effectively communicate their value.
  • Provide Market Intelligence and Customer Feedback: Gather and relay market trends and customer needs to enhance current solutions and contribute to the development of new products.
  • Foster Long-Term Customer Relationships: Cultivate enduring partnerships with clients and key industry stakeholders to strengthen business ties and support mutual growth.
  • Utilize CRM and Analytical Tools: Employ platforms such as SalesForce and SharePoint to collect and analyze market and prospect data, enhancing decision-making and market insights.
  • Support Marketing and Sales Efforts: Assist in the execution of the company's marketing and sales strategies to drive engagement and sales success.
  • Collaborate on Configurable Solutions: Work closely with internal teams to assess and define tailored solutions that meet client needs and specifications.
  • Handle RFPs and Contract Negotiations: Analyze and respond to RFPs/RFIs, manage contract negotiations, and oversee the preparation and administration of addendums.
  • Ensure Exceptional Account Satisfaction: Implement both tactical and strategic approaches to guarantee that customer accounts are not just satisfied but delighted with the services provided.

Essential skills and experience you'll need:

  • Strong Discovery Skills: Proficiency in uncovering key information and insights to inform sales strategies.
  • Articulation of ROI: Capability to clearly communicate the return on investment (ROI) of products or services to potential clients.
  • Objection Handling Skills: Expertise in effectively addressing and overcoming client objections.
  • Coachable: Openness to feedback and willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Strong Business Acumen: Comprehensive understanding of business operations and the ability to apply this knowledge to sales.
  • Negotiation Skills: Proficiency in negotiating terms and agreements to achieve favourable outcomes.
  • Closing Skills: Demonstrated ability to successfully close deals and secure commitments.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Gravitas: Presence and credibility that instils confidence and trust in clients.
  • Results Driven: Focused on achieving and exceeding targets and goals.

Desirable skills/experience:

  • Experience with SalesForce or similar CRM systems.
  • Saas/Cloud based Business Development Experience
  • Experience in building relationships with Higher Education Institutions
