About the role
This is an ideal opportunity for a newly qualified accountant (or latter stages) to move into a very commercially facing role which will partner with many non-finance stakeholders across the whole business. The role is exciting and will add real value to both cost saving and profit increase.
Key Responsibilities
- Performing and investigating variance analysis on cashflow and management accounts
- Business partnering with department heads to control and bring down spend where possible
- Analyse the business' performance and report findings to management
- Budgeting and forecasts
- Financial modelling where required
- Ownership of bonus and commission
- Controlling fixed assets and balance sheet movements
- Monthly management accounts for a small division
Person profile
- Experienced accountant and excellent Commercial ability
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or nearing completion)
- Advanced MS excel (preferably with modelling experience)
- Excellent analytical and numerical abilities
- Excellent personal skills and ability to challenge others
