Position: Supply Teacher (Primary Schools)
Location: Watford and Surrounding Areas
Start Date: September 2024
Pay Rate: £145-£155 per day
Randstad are are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Supply Teachers to join our team, supporting primary schools across Watford and the surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for passionate educators to make a positive impact on students' learning experiences while enjoying the flexibility of supply teaching. If you are interested in being part of vibrant school teams, having time to teach and be creative, a supply teaching role could be perfect for you.
You are expected to mark the work from lessons that you have taught, but all planning is provided and no summative assments are required to be undertaken in a supply role. You will have the opportunity to work across a range of local schools, supporting on a cover basis across primary aged classes whilst also working alongside fantastic teams of support and pastoral staff members.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning to primary school students
- Follow lesson plans and curriculum guidelines provided by the school
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively to create a positive learning environment
- Work collaboratively with school staff and adhere to school policies and procedures
Your Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential
- Proven experience in teaching primary school students
- Strong classroom management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school environments and across year groups
