A fantastic opportunity has opened up at a well renowned company for a mechanical assembler on an exciting project working with armoured vehicles. You'll be joining an established team of skilled assembler on a large project.
Due to the nature of the company, you must have a UK Passport to apply.
My client are looking for multiple Mechanical Assemblers that will be able to dismantle vehicles and reassemble with bespoke modifications.
Responsibilities:
- Stripping of commercial vehicles
- Building bespoke vehicles
- Read and interpret mechanical instructions
- Use a variety of hand and bench tools (torque wrenches etc.)
- Work as part of a team or on your own using initiative
Requirements:
- Previous experience working on vehicles
- Working from an instruction work log
- Previous experience within a mechanical environment
- Previous experience using workshop tools including torque wrenches, socket wrenches, screwdriver etc.
- Hold a current UK driving licence - car or bike.
- Willing to undergo a Criminal Disclosure check
- SC clearance or ability to achieve this (UK national with residency in the UK for the last 5 years)
Hours and days - Monday to Friday - 7am - 4 pm
Candidates for this position must be able to provide proof of identity and eligibility to work in the UK.
