Job Description:
Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual looking to make a meaningful difference in someone's life? We are seeking a caring and reliable individual to provide support to a wheelchair user during term time. This part-time role offers you the opportunity to work in a rewarding environment with a consistent schedule, working three days per week (Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday).
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities
- Support with mobility, including transferring in and out of the wheelchair
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Accompany the client to appointments or social activities
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Ensure a safe and comfortable environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a care role is preferred but not essential
- A caring and empathetic nature with a commitment to providing high-quality care
- Ability to work independently and follow care plans
- Good communication skills
- Reliability and punctuality
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)
