Great opportunity to join a successful business as an Auto Electrician in Cannock. This is a modern facility, and you will be working on a selection of new and used motorhomes in varying sizes and specifications. Your work will cover PDI checks, service and maintenance repairs to installation of new accessories such as solar panels, inverters, awnings and tow bars etc. The work is only on the habitation side of the motorhomes and not engines or drive train.
Ideally you will have 2+ years experience in the motorhome / caravan industry or have a few years as an Auto Electrician and be able to transfer this knowledge to larger vehicles.
This role will suit an Auto Electrician living in areas such as Cannock, Burntwood, Lichfield, Walsall, Penkridge, Rugeley, Stafford or the north side of Wolverhampton.
- Monday to Friday (8am – 4pm)
- Overtime available with x1.5 and x2 paid for weekend work.
- Salary £30k - £35k DOE (with OT c£40k)
- 33 days leave including BH`s
Day to day activities of an Auto Electrician include :
- Carry out inspections and prepare motorhomes for sale / delivery
- Fit accessories / optional extras
- Diagnose and rectify issues effectively and efficiently in a high quality manner
- Perform maintenance, services and repairs
Requirements of Auto Electrician :
- 2+ years experience in the Motorhome / Carvan industry or regular vehicles and be able to transfer skills
- Knowledge of motorhome electrical systems 240v to 12v,
- Knowledge of plumbing and gas systems would be advantageous
- Fault finding / diagnostics and rectification
- Full Driving Licence
