Our client is a leading insurance company seeking an experienced and talented Senior Frontend Developer to join their team on a permanent basis.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing cutting-edge web and mobile solutions using React.js, Next.js, and React Native. Working closely with the lead developer and both front-end and back-end development teams, you will ensure seamless user experiences. This role also offers the opportunity to mentor junior team members and drive the direction of multiple projects.
This role offers a hybrid work model, with 3 days a week in the office, which is based in central Liverpool.
What you'll be doing:
- Develop and implement user interface components using React.js, Next.js, and React Native.
- Collaborate closely with front-end and back-end development teams to ensure seamless user experiences.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering their professional growth.
- Take charge of steering the direction of multiple high-impact projects.
- Ensure robust and maintainable code by leveraging best practices and design patterns.
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and promoting coding standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring performance and scalability.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to bring innovative solutions to the table.

What you'll need:
- Strong experience with JavaScript development for frontend applications.
- Proven track record working with React.js/Next.js frameworks.
- Adept in using TypeScript, ensuring type-safe and maintainable code.
- Experience with React Native for mobile development.
- A good understanding of UI/UX principles.
- Experience with the end-to-end development cycle from design to release.
