Visual Inspector/Packing Operator

Are you an experienced Packing Operator/Visual Inspector in the pharmaceutical industry?

Our client in Swindon is seeking individuals like you to join their team as soon as possible!

The role is offering an attractive hourly rate of £12.60, with the possibility of overtime. The working pattern is full-time, Monday to Friday, with shifts from 7 am to 3 pm and 3 pm to 11 pm.

Responsibilities:

  • Setting up, cleaning, and operating production lines
  • Conducting visual inspections of manufactured products
  • Completing BMRs and maintaining accurate documentation
  • Cleaning work areas and equipment
  • Monitoring equipment status and reporting any faults or issues to the supervision team
  • Ensuring work and documentation comply with cGMP, SOPs, and regulatory agency requirements
  • Following cGMP requirements and company rules, policies, and procedures
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintaining a high level of tidiness and cleanliness
  • Supporting project validation work
  • Assisting with basic equipment maintenance
  • Operating airlocks and cleaning systems

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry (desirable)
  • Experience working in a clean room environment and understanding of aseptic manufacturing and filling processes (desirable)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation skills
  • Ability to work methodically and maintain a high level of product inspection
  • Good eyesight and not colour blind
  • GCSE level Maths and English (or equivalent)
  • Ability to handle material up to 5kg with reasonable adjustments if required
