Job Title: Accounts Assistant

Location: Chelmsford

Contract Details:

  • Contract Type: Temporary
  • Start Date: June 10th 2024 or as soon as possible
  • End Date: Month of June possibly a little longer
  • Contract Length: 4 weeks approx
  • Working Pattern: Part-time, 4-5 hours per day, 5 days a week

Salary: Competitive, £12-£14 per hour depending upon experience

About Our Client:

Our client, a dynamic organisation, is seeking a temporary Accounts Assistant to cover holidays this month. They are in search of a proactive and reliable individual to join their team. With an excellent credit control background and strong knowledge of Sage Line 50, the successful candidate will play a vital role in allocating payments for group bank accounts.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing credit control in a fast-paced environment
  • Allocating payments for group bank accounts
  • Assisting with financial record-keeping
  • Supporting the finance team in daily tasks
  • Maintaining accurate financial documentation

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Good knowledge of Sage Line 50
  • Excellent credit control experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in MS Excel
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in a similar role
  • AAT qualification or equivalent
  • Familiarity with other accounting software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High level of accuracy and efficiency

Technologies: Sage Line 50, MS Excel, accounting software
