Sellick partnership are currently assisting in the recruitment of a Communications officer to join a social housing organisation based in North Wales.

The Communications Officer will work as a member of the Customer Experience team, writing and creating clear compelling copy for various mediums including print, web, video, and social media.

Duties of the Communications officer:

  • Gain an understanding of target audiences
  • Work to identify key messages and be able to condense complex information
  • Liaise with residents and colleagues regularly, either by phone, email or face-to-face
  • Create content to either persuade or inform
  • Also work to identify interesting angles for articles and build a compelling narrative
  • Produce text across a range of mediums, such as webpages, publicity material, blogs, email messages, social media and video scripts
  • Complete other digital content duties where required

Requirements of the Communications officer:

  • At least two years' experience working within a similar setting/role
  • Exceptional writing and research skills
