Senior Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer- Leeds

My Client, a specialist UK based Engineering Consultancy who specialise in Drainage, Flood Risk and Environmental Engineering, is searching for a Senior Flood Risk and Drainage Design Engineer to lead a team of specialists based in Leeds.

Applicants are required to have an academic background in Engineering including a BSc and/or MSc in Civil Engineering and have technical experience working for a UK based Consultancy or Local Authority completing Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategy for planning applications.

Applicants are also required to have experience and detailed SuDS, Residential Drainage and sewerage designs using Microdrainage and AutoCAD.

As a Senior Flood Risk and Drainage Design Engineer you will be required to manage project, mentor team members and complete varied Flood Risk, Drainage and Civil Engineering Projects for Hospitals, Schools, Residential, Commercial and Industrial Developments for Housing Developers, Private Sector Clients and Local Authorities.

As a Senior Flood Risk and Drainage Design Engineer you will be required to mentor and provide technical advice to the team, manage projects and complete the following;

  • Flood Risk Assessments.
  • Drainage Strategies and detailed SuDS and Residential Drainage Design for S104 and S106 using Microdrainage and AutoCAD.
  • Surface Water Management Plans.
  • Pavement design.
  • Car park design.
  • Frequent liaison with Private and Public Sector Clients.
