Band 6 Occupational Therapist

Duration: ASAP - 12 weeks (about 3 months)
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week (various patterns considered, including 3 long days and weekend working; 1:4 weeks working until 8pm or 12-8 if on 7.5-hour days)

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct rapid assessments of patients to prevent admissions in the Emergency Department.
- Provide support on fast turnaround wards, including frailty and the medical assessment unit.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient care and discharge planning.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) registration is mandatory.
- Minimum of 2 years post-qualifying experience.
- Experience in NHS or acute medical settings is required.
- Ability to work within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
