Senior IAM Engineer

We are looking for a Senior IAM - Identity Access Management - Engineer to come and join our expanding team, with skills in Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange and Virtualisation.

Based at the client site, ideally 5 days a week, in Stevenage or Portsmouth, you will be reporting to the IAM Infrastructure team lead.

What you will be doing:

  • Managing any incidents, requests, changes and problems, within given SLAs Manage the support for all in scope Client Messaging services, including on-premise Exchange 2016/2019.? Including (but not limited to): mail routing issues, mail connectivity issues, mail security monitoring, mailbox sync issues etc
  • Maintenance and production of technical documentation to facilitate knowledge share and skills development
  • Proactively monitor the environments for issues
  • Execute tasks to support Maintenance and Lifecycle activities, including Patching of services
  • Integration and testing of new infrastructure technology (both hardware and software)
  • Make proactive suggestions for improvements to client services and propose how this can be delivered with the benefits realised.
  • Represent Sopra Steria in various Infrastructure projects with the client

What you will bring:

  • Proven experience with Exchange 2016/2019 or similar
  • An understanding of Forefront Identity Management (FIM) and Microsoft Identity Management (MIM)
  • A good understanding of group policies (GPO)
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Active Directory at Enterprise/Multi Forest scale
  • A good understanding of powershell scripting and reporting
  • Knowledge of VMWare and experience working in virtualised environments

It would be great if you had:

  • Experience with MECM (SCCM)
  • Knowledge of Postfix/Sendmail
  • Microsoft Certifications (MCP, MCITP, MCSE, MCSA, MCTS)
  • PingFederate Experience
  • Cisco IronPorts
  • ITIL Qualified

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Location: Stevenage or Portsmouth - On-Site Security Clearance Level: holding SC or eligible/willing to obtain.
