Description
Financial Analyst:
- Prepare detailed financial reports including profit and loss (P&L) statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and other key financial metrics.
- Analyze trends in sales, costs, and expenses to identify variances and opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct variance analysis to explain financial performance compared to forecasts, budgets, and prior periods.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial projections.
- Collaborate with different business units (production, sales, etc.) to gather data and ensure accurate forecasts.
- Analyze product costing, manufacturing overheads, and labor costs to provide insights on profitability.
- Develop financial models for new product launches, pricing strategies, and investment decisions.
Profile
A successful Financial Analyst should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics
- Studying toward ACCA or CIMA
- 2-5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within the automotive or manufacturing industry.
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
