Our client, a leading firm in the legal sector, is currently seeking an experienced Billings Assistant to join their dynamic Finance team on a temporary basis, an estimated 2-month contract. As a Billings Assistant, you will play a key role in assisting the team with the billing and credit control functions for the Finance Department.

As a Billings Assistant key responsibilities include**:**
- Monitor billing and cash collection budgets, review WIP balances, and process bills using Elite 3E.
- Administer payments via credit/debit card, review daily bank statements, and ensure accurate allocation of funds.
- Address client queries regarding invoiced fees, escalate issues when needed, and obtain PONs from key clients.
- Process bills during month-end and year-end, ensuring prompt preparation and dispatch.
The ideal Billings Assistant will have**:**
- Previous experience within a Revenue Management/Billings position (preferably within professional services),
- Previous experience with Elite 3E and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong communication skills/stakeholder management experience.
- Excellent numeracy skills and attention to detail.
- Highly organized and adaptable with a proactive mindset.
- Capable of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
