Randstad Education is seeking a dedicated Primary teacher to join our dynamic team, located in the vibrant community of Sheffield. As a Primary teacher, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality education and care to children aged 5-11, fostering their intellectual, emotional, and social growth.This is a full-time day-to-day position commencing in September 2024, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young learners.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess dynamic and engaging lessons across the primary curriculum, tailored to the needs and interests of students.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued, respected, and motivated to learn.
  • Utilize a range of teaching strategies, resources, and technology to enhance learning experiences and promote active participation.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching methods and curriculum initiatives that inspire curiosity and creativity.
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to students, parents, and colleagues to facilitate continuous improvement.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and the wider school community, fostering effective communication and partnership in education.
  • Maintain high standards of behavior management and safeguarding, ensuring the well-being and safety of all students.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Previous experience teaching primary school children, preferably in a similar setting.
  • Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to apply for one) is essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
