Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join an international award-winning engineering consultancy who can get the ground running and help provide sustainable building services from their offices in Manchester.
Role responsibilities include:
- Using CAD and Revit software to design the required systems for projects
- Work alongside the design team and produce detailed designs and site-specific equipment
- Oversee installations of building systems and specify maintenance procedures
- Provide clients cost-effective solutions to minimise environmental impact and ensure designs of building systems meet UK legislation requirements
The ideal Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will have:
- A degree within a Mechanical or Building Services Engineering field
- A minimum of 5 years' experience as a mechanical design engineer within the building services industry
- CIBSE chartership or at least working towards chartered status
- Strong experience with industry relevant software such as Revit and AutoCAD
- Excellent communication and numerical skills
