VM & POS Manager

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a VM & POS Manager to join our Marketing team.

The VM & POS Manager will support the Senior Brand & Omnichannel Manager in the delivery of the strategy, covering store customer experience, overseeing VM and POS and executing the requirements in line with the agreed calendar. The focus of the role is on the customer journey within the store's local environment through to conversion in-store. Supporting the execution of Local Marketing and ensuring the business is kept up to date and in line with the strategic pillars.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Management of relevant budget lines including cost control – updating the trackers, and communicating underspends/overspends to Line Manager monthly / as required.
  • Coach & train junior colleagues (as & when required on various tasks & platforms).
  • Support with Ad hoc duties within the team and department.
  • Collaborate with Commercial and Retail to create VM Guidelines, as required, which balance the commercial needs of the business with VM/POS strategies to achieve an effective customer experience which drives conversion.
  • Provide input into the VM & POS strategy, using knowledge, experience and learning, primary goal of improving conversion.
  • Responsible for managing the POS & VM critical path, adhering to timings and keeping stakeholders informed, maintaining the delivery tracker and high-level activity planner.
  • Execute & deploy Windows, Posters and POS ‘Extras' process to achieve clear signage in-store which drives conversion.
  • Oversee the execution of ‘black and white' and General POS, and responsible for the QC process.
  • Responsible for store communications (POS & VM) regarding campaigns and changes to achieve store compliance, including guidelines for stores to manage POS trolleys.
  • Oversee POS delivery to stores (updates communicated as needed), collection of POS deliveries and storage in the office.
  • Work with the Retail team to appraise Store Guidance to ensure it continues to be understood by colleagues, to achieve maximum compliance.
  • Support the Senior Local Marketing Manager to review the Local and in-store customer experience, using performance and customer insights to ensure it is effectively driving conversion (across all strategic pillars), updating the approach if required.
  • Regularly review competitors to come up with new POS & VM initiatives for the business.
  • Work with the print management agency to achieve cost efficiencies, process improvements, and test and learn to push the boundaries of what's possible.
  • Support the Local Marketing Manager on the execution of the Local Marketing strategy, including printed collateral, in-store set-up.
  • Support the roll-out of new and refresh stores, ensuring that set-up is in line with the agreed approach.
  • Working with Commercial Team on space and fixture set-up to define the POS and VM requirements.

What we are looking for:

Essential:

  • Experienced in VM and window set up.
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Creative flair & idea generation.
  • Experience in Point of Sale and retail visual, ideally in fashion & general merchandise.
  • Ability to communicate with both internal and external stakeholders on a regular basis.
  • Good knowledge & experience of Microsoft Office.
  • Strong attention to detail & accuracy.
  • Understanding customer journeys and the interaction across multi-channel touchpoints.
