Accounts Payable Assistant
Liverpool City Centre - up to £25,000 DOE
I'm delighted to be partnered with a well-known professional services firm based in the heart of Liverpool City Centre. They seek an Accounts Payable Assistant to join a large finance function.
This will be a hybrid role following initial training and requires a candidate who has the ability to handle a fast-paced environment.
You will be based in beautiful city centre offices and will be joining a very well-established finance team. Personality and drive is a must - everybody in this team works together and handles the workload between them.
My client is ideally looking for somebody with Accounts Payable exposure - however a trainee with some accounting knowledge and the right attitude will also be considered.
Key duties:
- Processing high volumes of supplier invoices using internal software
- Handling supplier queries via telephone and email and resolving in a quick and accurate fashion
- Updating and manipulating various Excel spreadsheets
- Collating information ready for the management team
- Matching, batching and coding high volumes of invoices
- Ad-hoc support to the Accounts Payable team
About you:
- Ideally some experience within Accounts Payable
- Confident using Excel
- Great communication skills - both verbal and written
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
