Job Title: Audit & Compliance Coordinator
Location: Corwen/Wrexham
Salary: £30,000 basic

About the Role:
Our Client is looking for an Audit & Compliance Coordinator to support the Technical Manager in ensuring their technical control systems meet legislative and internal policy standards. You'll play a crucial role in evaluating and continuously improving these controls to ensure ongoing compliance and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives across all sites.
- Conduct internal, external, and ethical audits in line with legislative and company policy demands.
- Assist in performing gap analysis for new standards or legislation to ensure company compliance.
- Manage proof-reading processes, ensuring timely and accurate project completion.
- Support effective root cause analysis to minimise non-conformance.
- Contribute to technical trending and information reporting.
- Play a vital role in the HACCP and internal auditing teams.
- Provide training and support to the QA team on technical and quality-related issues.
- Monitor and investigate internal non-conformances, ensuring proper resolution.
- Uphold food safety standards.

Skills & Experience:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills at all levels.
- Proven ability to build effective working relationships, especially with production and engineering teams.
- In-depth knowledge of GMPs, hygiene, and quality processes.
- Experienced in both internal and external auditing.
- Ability to work independently, lead teams, and make informed decisions.
- Competence in reviewing and reporting data to produce accurate and meaningful insights.
- Flexibility to spend 25-30% of your time on the factory floor.
