We are currently recruiting for a well established client in the heart of the Leicester area who are seeking a Mechanically biased Maintenance Engineer to join their team.
- Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
- Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00
- Manufacturing Environment.
- Salary up to £45,000 depending on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on mechanical systems and equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults in a timely manner to minimise downtime.
- Implement preventative maintenance schedules to ensure the longevity of equipment.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to optimise production processes.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications and Experience:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Maintenance Engineering.
- Proven experience in a maintenance role within an FMCG or Manufacturing environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
