Area Sales Manager

- Salary: Basic £45,000 to £50,000 plus Bonus

Our client is looking to drive our growth with a commercially aware, customer focused and goal driven Area Sales Manager, working the Midlands territory, to maintain and develop a portfolio of customers within the region.
The role of Area Sales Manager involves proactive account management of existing and new customers; managing the full process from initial enquiry to confirmed order. Identifying additional business opportunities is another key requirement, which involves liaising with key stakeholders internally and externally.
Duties for the role include:
- Developing an existing customer portfolio and identifying and targeting new business opportunities within the market sector
- Identifying previously trading accounts in order to cultivate new opportunities
- Locating and managing key projects within your defined territory
- Regularly updating and completion of CRM system
- Interacting with Key Account/ Business Development Managers on all National Accounts
- Ensuring sales targets and KPI's are met through selling across the full portfolio
Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience in field sales within the Plant Hire sector.
- Account Management
- Proactive hunter mentality
- Able to nurture and build client relationships
