Business Support Coordinator - Part Time - West Country

The organisation is recruiting a Business Support Coordinator to join their fostering service in the West Country; you will be based either in the Exeter or Truro Office on a part time basis.

The Truro, Plymouth, and Exeter administrative teams work cohesively across the service. They are a friendly, hardworking team who enjoy working alongside their social workers and fostering support worker colleagues.

Their Trauma-Informed (ATIC) model integrates their Fostering, Residential, Clinical, and Education services to achieve the best possible outcomes for young people.

As the Business Support Coordinator your administrative duties for the role include answering general queries and fostering-related business by phone and email, processing regular checks for current foster carers and children, diary management and room bookings, taking minutes in meetings, and liaising with head office finance teams.

Working as the Business Support Coordinator you will also be responsible for

  • Maintaining the CHARMS database to ensure compliance
  • Ensuring the organisations policies and procedures are adhered to
  • The business or fostering managers may require additional administrative tasks or projects
  • To promote inclusion and participation of children and young people in the development of the foster service

As a Business Support Coordinator, you must have excellent knowledge and working practice in Word, Excel and PowerPoint, as well as proven organisation and time management skills.

You will need to hold a Full Driving Licence and have access to a vehicle as you may be asked to travel between offices, and you must have the right to work in the UK.

Hours

The Hours are 22 hours per week and are Office Based

Their normal office hours are Monday to Thursday 9am - 5pm, Friday 9am - 4.30pm

Days will be confirmed with you if you are successful
