About the Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and SEN coordinators to provide targeted support to students who require additional help. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that every student has the opportunity to succeed in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Student Support: Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with special educational needs (SEN), ensuring they can access the curriculum and participate fully in school life.
- Classroom Assistance: Assist teachers in delivering lessons, managing the classroom, and adapting materials to meet the diverse needs of all students.
- Implementing Plans: Help implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and other support strategies, working closely with teachers and SEN staff to monitor progress and adjust approaches as needed.

Requirements:
- A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, resilience, and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
- Previous experience working with children, especially those with SEN, is beneficial but not essential.
- A proactive, flexible attitude and a willingness to adapt to the needs of the classroom.
