Based at our clients Biggleswade, Bedfordhsire site we are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Fitter to build a wide variety of Special Purpose Production Machinery.
Ideally candidates will have worked building special purpose production machinery for various sectors including food processing and pharma industries.

Mechanical Fitter Requirements:
- Experience with mechanical production build of complex equipment
- Experience of working from complex engineering drawings and pneumatic diagrams
- A solid background in both mechanical fitting
- Ability to read and interpret engineering instructions, drawings and BOM's
- Familiarity of fitting motors, different gears, bearings, copper pipe work, drive shafts
- Take pride in producing high quality work. Good attention to detail
- Team player with excellent communication skills including written skills
Mechanical Fitter Responsibilities:
- Fitting/manufacture of mechanical production build of large complex equipment
- Fit and assembly of mechanical components making use of appropriate machinery/hand tools
- Ensure that all H&SE policies and the company ISO guidelines are adhered to during manufacture
