Currently recruiting for an experienced Finance Manager, on a 6-month initial contract, reporting to the CFO. The Finance Manager will play a key role in preparing financial reports, VAT return and client invoicing.

Description
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- The successful Finance Manager will set up new suppliers and clients in Xero
- Client invoicing
- Checking and processing payments of supplier invoices, payroll & expense claims
- Work with CFO and wider team to maximise cash inflow, e.g. chasing late client payments, issuing client invoices promptly, etc.
- Assist CFO in preparation of cash flow and P&L forecasting
- Balance sheet reconciliation in Xero
- Produce staff monthly utilisation & project profitability reports via Xero Projects
- Quarterly VAT return and filing
- Preparation of monthly P&L, supporting financial information and ad hoc reports
- Liaise with external accountants to help prepare annual accounts
- Supporting broader team with Xero, Xero Projects and CRM
- Maintain proper records & files
Profile
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Demonstrated experience with Xero and Xero Projects, or other project costing software,e.g. CMAP
- Demonstrated experience using MS suite (Excel etc.)
- Experience in a service-based SME (desirable)
- Qualified Accountant (desirable)
Job Offer
- £50,000 - £55,000 per annum
- Hybrid (2 Office Days)
