Reed Finance are seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join our globally recognised client on a permanent basis.
This is a hands-on role overseeing production of timely and accurate management accounts, whilst overseeing a small, well-established team. Our client are working on a hybrid basis and have excellent benefits on offer including discretionary bonus, private healthcare and increasing holiday allowance with long service.
As Management Accountant, your key duties will include:
- Prepare monthly management accounts
- Provide commentary and variance analysis against turnover, expenditure and profit margin
- Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and the fixed assets register
- Complete intercompany balance sheet checks and liaise with subsidiaries to correct any differences
- Regularly review costs to identify potential savings measures
- Offer financial support and advice to senior managers to aid in informed business decision-making
- Work with the Finance Director in preparing annual budgets and periodic forecasts
- Supervise the accounts payable, receivable, credit control and banking functions with two direct reports.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in financial management and supervision of finance teams
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to prepare and analyse financial statements, forecasts, and management accounts
- Proficiency in maintaining balance sheet reconciliations and fixed assets registers
- Adept at intercompany communications and resolving discrepancies
