Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a full time Travel and Tourism Lecturer to work at a College in Hull, starting ASAP and lasting until at least December 2024. This is a temporary position, that may be extended in the future. Payment for this position will be in line with the main teaching pay scale (up to M6), meaning a daily rate payment of between £162.31 and £223.62 per day. There may be potential for part time hours in this role too, so part time applicants are encouraged to apply for this role. This is to cover a period of sickness absence, so the exact length of the contract is difficult to establish at this time.
This role will involve teaching Travel and Tourism to Post-16 learners, specifically teaching BTEC Level 2 and 3 Travel and Tourism. Previous experience teaching Travel and Tourism is ideal for this role, but previous experience teaching similar subjects such as Geography would be really transferrable for this role.
Located in Hull, the school is easy to access by car and public transport from most areas of the city. There is an onsite car park that is free to use, and spaces are often available and if not there is a local car park that is easy to access and use, providing cheap central parking. There is an extremely experienced and effective head of department that ensures that a throughout handover and induction is provided to temporary staff members, leaving you feeling welcome and supported from the first day in the role.

- Have experience working within schools in the UK.
- Has experience supporting within UK schools
- Has experience teaching French to Key Stage 5 students (or French fluency)
- Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks

- Legal right to work in the UK
