We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our Green Spaces team as Grasscutter.
Role: Grasscutter
Location: Bryncethin Depot , Black mill Road, Bridgend, CF32 9YN
Pay Rate: £12.65
Shift: 37 hours per week
In this rewarding role, you will:
- Play a key role in maintaining the beauty and safety of our community's green spaces.
- Operate a variety of equipment, including ride-on mowers, pedestrian mowers, strimmers, and blowers.
- Work as part of a team to deliver high-quality grass cutting and grounds maintenance services.
- Engage with the public, providing excellent customer service and responding to inquiries.
What We're Looking For:
- A reasonable standard of education and demonstrable competence through experience in grounds maintenance.
- Experience working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Knowledge of Bridgend County Borough's geography.
- A strong understanding of health and safety practices.
- Experience using hand tools, mowers, strimmers, blowers, ride-on mowers, and trailers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with the public and councillors.
- The ability to work safely on highways, following Chapter 8 regulations.
