Summary

My high-profile Utilities client is looking for an HR Policy Analyst to join their team Based at their Warwick offices (once a month on site) on an initial 6-month contract with chance of extensions.

Are you an experienced HR professional with a passion for policy development? Our client, a leading organisation in the utilities industry, is currently seeking a talented HR Policy Analyst to join their team. In this role, you will play a critical part in a global HR and payroll transformation project, ensuring the creation of a comprehensive and accessible policy framework. Bring your expertise in policy drafting, knowledge of relevant legislation, and ability to collaborate with stakeholders to make a significant impact.

What you'll do:

  • Review and analyse existing policy documents to identify areas for improvement and alignment.
  • Generate new global policy drafts, working closely with subject matter experts and policy owners to refine and finalise them.
  • Facilitate governance processes to gain approval for policy documents.
  • Produce analysis of current documentation, flagging gaps and opportunities for future improvements
  • Collaborate with policy owners to develop a forward plan for policy development.
  • Evaluate and map links to supporting documents, overseeing the editing and retirement of outdated content.
  • Work with change and communications teams to prepare policy launch communications.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure policies are live on platforms with working links to other documents.
  • Prepare progress reports and updates for senior management and the project management office (PMO) team.

What we're looking for:

  • Demonstrable experience in drafting HR policy, with a good understanding of relevant legislation
  • Experience working within regulated and unionised environments, particularly in the UK and US
  • In-depth knowledge of HR operations
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex issues.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong project management skills to ensure the successful implementation of policies.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant certification, such as CIPD, is desirable but not essential.
