Project Manager- Solar PV
Intervl are working with a Devon based manufacturer of solar mounting systems who are looking to add to tehir project mangement team. The project manager will be the point of contact for the clients during the complete project lifecycle from design through manufactoring and product delivery/ installation.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.
Responsibilities
- Set project timeline
- Monitor project deliverables
- Update relevant stakeholders or team members on the project progress
- Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with customers, suppliers, sub- contractors and colleagues to ensure smooth delivery of project
- Assisting with tendering and bidding for work
- Keeping up to date on current costings and lead times with finance, engineering and manufacturing departments to ensure budgets and programmes are achievable, correct and are met
- Ensuring all requirements including technical and commercial are relevant and achievable
- Being main point of contact for customers, dealing with issues and notifying customers of issues or delays
- Reporting on project progress to Senior Management
About You:
- Project management experience and/or qualifications
- Commercial solar development background, preferred but not essential
- Driven and passionate
- Willing to travel around the UK and abroad as required
- A professional demeanour
- A valid driver's license
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- Strong business acumen in project planning and management
- Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
