Role Overview:
The Customer Service Assistant will be responsible for providing timely assistance to customers, managing inquiries, processing orders, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, delivering accurate information regarding products and services.
  • Process customer orders efficiently, ensuring timely delivery through collaboration with logistics and production teams.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues effectively, demonstrating strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions in the company database.
  • Assist in developing and implementing customer service policies to improve service quality.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to support customer account management and retention initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in customer service or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and customer management software.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of the food industry, particularly grain or milling, is advantageous.
