Administration Assistant

At our Teconnex Ltd site located in Keighley, West Yorkshire, part of the Hexadex group of companies. Teconnex is a Global manufacturing group and employ over 300 staff at our manufacturing and head office site.

We now seek a Administrative Assistant to join our busy HR department where you will deliver a first-class seamless transactional people service. You will assist in managing UK employees throughout the employee life cycle. You will manage the day-to-day administrative tasks, HR systems, create reports and be the first point of contact for our customers. No day is the same.

Overview of duties

  • Updating employee details on the HR system and the employee electronic file, including the scanning and copying of documents.
  • Completing all administration and tasks related to staff changes, including paternity leave, maternity leave, secondment, sick leave and other absences, and change in job / department status.
  • Support and coordinate recruitment, managing internal applications and arranging interviews.
  • Manager and coordinate the onboarding process by conducting right to work checks, preparing offer letters and contracts of employment and issuing of new starter packs. Manage and coordinate employee benefits, long service awards, pensions, eye care, Share Investment Plan.
  • Ensure monthly payroll data is shared with relevant stakeholders accurately and timely. Manage the shared HR inbox ensuring any queries are dealt with efficiently and where appropriate assign to relevant team member. Organising of meetings / room bookings. Support with organising of site events and employee recognition awards.

About you

  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or office admin assistant.
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
  • Proficiency in MS Office- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise work.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task.

Hours, current hours are mon-thurs 8.15 to 1700 - Friday finish at 15.30, however we can be flexible if someone seeks shorter hours ie. 9 to 4
