Role: Supervising Social Worker
Location: Derbyshire (Home based and hybrid working)
SALARY: £40,000 plus PRP
Travel paid at 45p per mile for business
Caseload: Existing stable caseload of 7 carers
An Independent Fostering Agency rated ‘Good' by Ofsted, are looking for knowledgeable Supervising Social Workers to join their team.
As a Supervising Social Worker, you will be looking after a manageable caseload of foster families (max 10). Working in partnership with other team members to provide a high-quality service for their foster families and the children/young people they look after.
You will be responsible for ensuring that children's care and development needs are met within placements by undertaking necessary planning and intervention for both emergency and planned referrals.
Requirements of you as the Supervising Social Worker:
- Social Work Degree/Diploma and current SWE registration
- Experience of working within Fostering
- A knowledge of current legislation particularly The Children Act 1989, National Minimum Standards in Fostering, The Fostering Regulations 2011, The Care Planning, Placement and Case Review (England) Regulations 2010.
- Must hold a full UK Driving Licence and be a UK resident.
