Job Title: Customer Support Agent

Location: Margate

Salary: £26,000 - £27,000

Hours: Monday - Thursday, 8am - 5:30pm with ½ hour lunch, Friday 8am - 12pm

Annual leave: 20 days + 8 Bank holidays

Your key responsibilities as a Customer Support Agent would be to:

  • Answer customer enquiries through various channels in a positive, empathetic and professional manner to achieve and exceed customer expectations and maintain a high level of excellent customer service.
  • Foster positive relationships with external companies such as distributors, service centres and emergency services etc.
  • Record, acknowledge, resolve, escalate and follow up customer queries and complaints as required and maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions.
  • Implement and oversee procedures and processes, making improvements to customer service.
  • Manage the service centres list and work with distributors to arrange meetings.
  • Work alongside Senior Management to develop, oversee and carry out any specific customer relation action plans as necessary.
  • Develop and maintain product knowledge to a high level, including operation, knowledge of maintenance, fault finding, and repair procedures.

  • Previous experience working within a Customer services role in an office
  • Excellent communication
  • Customer focussed with ability to adapt/respond to different customers appropriately
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Ability to maintain a high level of knowledge and efficiency over a wide variety of tasks and services
  • Must possess a positive attitude and be a valued contributor of a continual improvement process
