Reception Teacher (MAT Teacher)

We are seeking an enthusiastic Reception Teacher (MAT Teacher) to join our dynamic educational community. This role is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated educator to ignite young minds and foster a love for learning. The successful candidate will initially work alongside the main class teacher until Christmas and will then lead the classroom independently from January. The role is set to start in September.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Develop and deliver engaging and interactive lessons that cater to diverse learning needs, ensuring all students are challenged and supported.
- Regularly assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records of their achievements.
- Build strong relationships with parents/guardians through open communication, parent-teacher conferences, and regular updates on student progress.
- Contribute to the wider school community through participation in extracurricular activities, school events, and professional development opportunities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
- Experience or specialisation in early years education or KS1 instruction is highly desirable.
- A genuine passion for working with young children and the ability to create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment.
