As an Assistant Management Accountant, you will be working closely with the Finance Manager, who will be able to provide a fantastic level of assistance throughout your development. You will gain exposure and experience with budgeting and forecasting and eventually will be able to lead one-on-one meetings with budget holders. In these meetings, you will be the first point of call for queries in regard to the financial health of these departments. Your insight and commentary will be valued. Skills Required
- To have experience with the budgeting and forecasting process, especially having prior experience in speaking with internal or external stakeholders about their allocated budget and how this affects their intended spending.
- To be either an active ACCA or CIMA studier, or to already have completed a number of examinations in your chosen discipline. The organisation is seeking an individual with a strong technical knowledge of accounting.
- To be able to communicate in an effective manner. It is essential to be able to confidently and coherently verbalise your thoughts and findings, as you will be at times involved with financial meetings with senior management.
- To be an ambitious individual. This organisation is one with strong intentions to grow and develop their finance function even further. Subsequently there are some fantastic avenues for progression included in this opportunity, it requires an individual with ambition to achieve these goals.
