We have opportunities for an experienced Health Visitors to work with the Universal Children's Services in multiple localities across Barking and Dagenham.
Job responsibilities:
All health visiting duties including :
- Supporting safeguarding
- liaison with agencies
- Attendance at meetings and CP conferences and core groups.
- Providing the Health Child programme for 0-5 children and families.
- early help and mentoring
- Home visits
- Running clinics for Universal Plus and Partnership Plus
Skills:
- Qualified HV
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of community resources and support services.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
