Are you an Algorithm Researcher who is looking to join an internationally renowned company where you will be working on their cutting edge algorithm projects?
This is a rare opportunity where you will join a brand new division that will be responsible for devising novel algorithms, conducting algorithm theoretical analysis, project proposal writing, etc, all whilst working as part of the lambda lab. We are looking for someone who displays a deep understanding and a clear passion for their craft.
Our client focuses on pioneering research and development of advanced technology for the Rail and Electric Vehicle industries across the globe. They are well established with roots that date back over 60 years and have around 8,000 employees In China alone. Industry experience for this position is not necessary but we are still interested in seeing people from this background.
The ideal candidate will have some good experience in algorithm research in an academic environment, information security algorithm & protocol design, and has some recent relevant publications.
The role:
- Machine Learning Algorithm design, optimising algorithm design including combinatorial optimisation
- Technical Paper and Project Proposal Writing
- Onsite in Birmingham
We would like you to have:
- PhD or Masters degree (research based is preferred) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or related fields.
- Ideally published papers in top conferences or journals
- Solid knowledge of Algorithms and or theoretical computer science
